Overview

The University of Alabama in Huntsville leads Alabama’s quantum sensing research, with direct applications in defense—such as counter-UAV efforts—and secure quantum communications. This work is supported by industry and by funding from NATO’s Science for Peace and Security (SPS) program, building on UAH’s long history of contract and classified research alongside Redstone Arsenal and the Huntsville federal ecosystem.
